YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Creative Copywriter, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing compelling brand narratives that resonate with target audiences and align with client brand identities.

  • Crafting website content, including homepage copy, landing pages, and blog posts, while incorporating SEO best practices.

Job Description

Grindstone Advertising Agency is looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to lead our web development projects and collaborate closely with management to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery. As the WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for working with the UX/UI designer to build custom WordPress websites from the ground up, as well as maintaining and enhancing our clients’ websites, optimising performance, and implementing creative solutions that align with the agency’s vision. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, utilising the latest tools and technologies.

YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • WordPress Expertise: Maintain a strong working knowledge of WordPress, including building websites from scratch, custom theme and plugin development, customisation, and troubleshooting.
  • Page Builders: Preferably familiar with Bricks Builder and ACF Pro. Experience with other builders like Elementor or Breakdance is acceptable, but Bricks and ACF are preferred.
  • Hosting & Server Management: Manage hosting environments, including tasks such as adding/removing domains, upgrading hosting packages, editing DNS records, managing MySQL databases, updating PHP versions, and troubleshooting server-related issues.
  • Critical Issue Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve critical WordPress issues, conduct thorough site audits, and ensure all websites are secure, functional, and optimised.
  • Frontend Development: Work with the UX/UI designer to ensure user experience and interface design are correctly implemented, and websites are visually appealing, responsive, and easy to navigate.
